Sabra Khatoon was born in Ara-Bhojpur district of Bihar State. She is married to Md Manzar Alam. Her father's name is Azizul Haque and her mother's name is Asma Khatoon.

The great grandfather of Sabra Khatoon was Viceroy’s Commissioned Officer (VCO) in British Indian Army. He hold the rank of “Subedar” in infantry regiment which was the second highest most rank of Indian officer in the military forces of British India. He was an ADC also known as Aide-de-camp to ninth Viceroy of India-Lansdowne (1888 to 1894).

This medal was awarded by Excellency of Marquess of Lansdowne-Viceroy of India (1888) to Wali Mohammad. On the edge of this medal it is written as “ SUBEDAR WALI MAHOMED 1892”.

The great grandfather of Sabra Khatoon was also awarded Delhi Darbar medal in 1903 for participation in the celebration of coronation, which was issued to commemorate Delhi Durbar where the new Emperor of India, Edward VII (Albert Edward) was proclaimed.

The great grandfather of Sabra Khatoon is also the recipient of the First class Order of British India (OBI) which is order of merit, awarded by Viceroy of India for long, faithful, and honourable service by Viceroy’s Commissioned (i.e. native Indian) Officers in the British Indian Army.

Her maternal granfather's name is Quazi Syed Abdul Aziz. He was awarded the title of Quazi form British government.

                                                                        

Dr Md Amir Alam was born in Ara, Bhojpur district of Bihar state. His father’s name is Md Manzar Alam and his mother’s name is Sabra Khatoon. He has done his schooling from Bhagalpur. He has done his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Katihar Medical College. He has done his postgraduation from Subharti Medical College in Pharmacology. He is doing social service since very long time. He is actively engaged in awareness programmes related to health education, disease prevention, alleviation of poverty, from long time.
